We are on a presenter roll!  April’s talk is an excellent follow-up to our wonderful Paid Search talk last month… Sarah Douglas – who by day is a Senior SEO Strategist at G5 – and by night slays it in the kitchen and in various cyber worlds – will be talking about SEO!

Specifically, from her:

Learn the basics of SEO including: design and structural considerations, keyword research & usage, essential tools, and how to generally win at the Googles.

So come learn about how to not get bitten by angry pandas and learn lots and lots and lots about snake oil.

We will be meeting at our **new venue** too!  Tech Space Bend has been kind enough to open its doors to us.  There are lots of comfy chairs, wifi, and since we live in Bend, like four breweries within stumbling distance.  w00t!  See you all there!

Topic: Using Twilio to Telephonize Your Apps

I will be giving a presentation on how to implement the Twilio API in
your web application to add in SMS/Text and Voice capabilities to your
coding quiver.  Specifically we will look at how I am using Twilio in
my latest project: conepatrol.com

If interest and time is available, we will even live code some new ski
resorts onto the Cone Patrol network.

In order to use the Smoking Room at McMenamins, we have to buy food, and beer.  So come hungry to learn, and eat, and drink.
