Web Developer at Transaction Labs

Good day Cowpudians.  Here is another job opportunity for a web developer here in Bend:

From Transaction Labs:

Web Developer
Transaction Labs is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Web Developer to help develop a number of innovative web enabled applications in the financial & marketing industries.

The successful candidate will report directly to the CTO and work as a valued member of a small, experienced, fast moving development team. More agile than “Agile”, we leverage our strengths to produce the best products in our industry using our experience to cherry pick the processes that work – and ignore those that don’t.

We are sticklers for good design, clean/self-tested code and quick-turn prototypes, but don’t care how many yellow stickies you put on your wall or whether you filled out a “TPS” report.

We work in a geographically distributed way with team members scattered around the globe. You must be able to work and communicate easily in this environment: email, chat/IM, etc.

Our production systems are Linux and we work in a Mac and/or Linux environment, so while you can use any other tool you like, you must meet us there.

You need to have a strong skills in GUI development with an understanding of human factors and simple design. You should know why the iPod with 1-button was better than the Sony with 8.

Artistic and graphic design skills would be helpful and desired, but so is facility in computer tools and environments (read: hacker-skills)

If you’re the right person, you can be located anywhere. But if you’re located in Bend, Oregon where we are – even better

Our clients are some of the most well known companies in the world and our products will effect their businesses at the core. We think its pretty cool stuff. If you do too, contact us at jobs@tlabs.us
